Student Resources
Using technology for learning and gathering information can sometimes be confusing. In this section, we have gathered some resources for you, which we hope will make that process easier.
Honor Graduate Policy
The Calcasieu Parish School System honor graduate policy consists of two requirements: the cumulative grade point average and the student's strength of diploma, also called the graduation index.
Grade Point Average
The GPA used for determination of honors is calculated on a 5.0 GPA scale. Awards are as follows:
- Summa Cum Laude: 3.90-4.00+ GPA
- Magna Cum Laude: 3.70-3.89 GPA
- Cum Laude: 3.50-3.69 GPA
